Well, the 2009 SUMMER "IMPACT Hockey Program" has paid off for our group!!! Take a look at what the players did this season after training 4 days a week for July and August!!! These players trained on the Hockey Treadmill and Plyo-metrics floor as well as on-ice skills training. This is what hard work is all about...the success!!!!
Brian Lashoff was named Captain of the Kingston Frantanacs and led them to a playoff birth. A steady defensemen and an offensive threat he is finishing the season with the Grand Rapids Griffins of the AHL. In 2010 Brian was also selected to the USA World Jr Under 20 Team. This team won an overtime thriller beating Canada to capture the Gold Medal at this years World Jr Championships in Saskatoon.
Pete MacArthur has scored a total of 42 points thus far with the Rockford Ice Hogs and the team is heading into the playoffs with one of the best records in the AHL.
John Sullivan Captained the Middlebury Ice Hockey Team to a NESCAC Championship and National Division III quarterfinal bid.
Mike Borisenok led the UNH Wildcats to the Hockey East title and a National tournament bid making to the elite 8. Mike spent the season centering the third line with significant time on the PK.
Patch Alber was a "walk on" freshmen this season at Boston College seeing significant playing time in the second half of the season and remained in the line up during the Eagles entire playoff run to the 2010 Division I National Championship!!! Congratulations!!!!
Ryan Farnum led the Syracuse Jr A team in scoring and finished his season 7th over all in the EJHL in scoring. A skilled forward that has a bright future in college hockey!!
Nick Mannarino had a successful first season at Northwood Prep. He finished the year seeing significant playing time all season long to complete a terrific first campaign at the elite Prep School level.
Liz Rizzo had a successful freshmen year at Division I THE Ohio State University Buckeyes. Liz was in the line up the entire season and contributed to the teams success and upset defeat over number 1 ranked Wisconsin in the first round of the playoffs.
Courtney Burke led her Shattuck St Mary's U18 team to the Tier I girls National Championship. Courtney finished off the championship game with the tying goal and the game winning shootout goal.
