2010 Summer Hockey Camps

Week of July 5-9, 2010

Camp #1 CCM Mite/Squirt Development
This is the perfect camp for young players as we set the foundation for proper Fundamentals with our progressive approach to Skill Development. This camp focuses on Skating, Puck Control, Fun and Games!! The kids will be on the ice for 1 3/4 hours and outside for an hour participating in our Physical education program to help build athleticism. (30 players max in this camp)

Camp #2 CCM Peewee Transition Hockey Camp
Squirt players moving up to peewee hockey, this is the camp for you. Learn the proper techniques on checking skills and advanced puck control skills. We break down the skill of checking to it's simplest of forms in a controlled and safe envirnment. Stick handling skills are focused on so that players can better see the ice. Off-ice program focuses on shooting skills, puck control, and hockey specific speed, strength, and agility training. If you want to be prepared to enter Peewees you must attend this camp.

Camp #3 CCM Defense Only Camp
This camp is for the highly motivated defensive player. Players will be challenged in every drill to achieve maximum performance!! On-ice program will include Quickness/Agility training, with a focus on backwards skating and 1 v 1 skills. Proper skating techniques as well as body position and stability will be taught. The Off-ice program will focus on speed and strength training. Applications will be reviewed carefully. (30 players max in this camp)

Week of July 26-30, 2010
Location: Athletic Republic and the Hockey Hut Training Center
Camp #4 CCM Elite Training Camp:
This camp is for the highly motivated AA and AAA player. Players will be challenged in every drill to achieve maximum performance!! On-ice program will include Quickness/Agility Training, 1 v 1 skills as well as shooting and scoring skills. The Off-ice program will include 3 days on the "Super Treadmill" "Exceleration" Program which focuses on speed and strength training. Bungee Cords and resistance training will be used to enhance players speed and strength. This camp is for motivated players only that have a goal of playing at the highest levels. Applications will be reviewed carefully. (20 players max in this camp)
ONLY 10 PLAYERS IN EACH AGE GROUP WILL BE SELECTED FOR THIS CAMP!

Camp #5 Pete MacArthur and Ryan Weston Training Camp
Pete MacArthur and Ryan Weston, teammates at Boston University for four years who both completed their second season playing in the AHL in 2009-2010 are hosting this one of a kind camp. Train on the ice with Pete and Ryan as they prepare for the 2010-2011 season. Puck control, shooting and scoring techniques along with puck protection will be stressed all week. This camp will focus on advanced skills, and is for motivated players. (30 players max in this camp)

Camp #6 CCM Shooting and Scoring Training Camp
This camp is for the highly motivated AA and AAA aged players that want a harder more accurate shot. Players will be challenged in every drill to achieve proper shooting technique. This will lead to a more points on the scoresheet. On-ice program will also include skating quickness and driving to the goal. The Off-ice program will include the circuit training stations to help balance and stability.
ONLY 10 PLAYERS IN EACH AGE GROUP WILL BE SELECTED FOR THIS CAMP!

Camp #7 CCM Stick handling Training Camp
This camp is for the highly motivated AA and AAA player. Players will be challenged in every drill to achieve maximum puck control performance!! On-ice program will include a wide variety of puck control drills and progressions. Off-ice training will include a progressive circuit training program to increase puck control, wrist and hand strength. This camp is for motivated players only that have a goal of playing at the highest levels. Applications will be reviewed carefully.
ONLY 15 PLAYERS IN EACH AGE GROUP WILL BE SELECTED FOR THIS CAMP!
